RELOADING ST CHARLES MI
The Cost: This is a great hobby and a money saver, but, there is a start-up cost. You will need a complete reloading starter kit (see list above) plus supplies like primers and bullet casings.
The Reloading Manual: Be sure to have a reloading manual handy to look up the caliber you are loading for and get the proper type and amount of powder necessary.
The Press: The press holds the dies which are needed to process the ammo. Each caliber requires a specific set of dies. The press needs to be securely mounted to the table so that your cases can be resized.
The Powder Measure/Scale: A powder measure/scales is necessary in order to put the proper amount of powder in your cases. This is vital and insures the safety and reliability of your ammo.
The Danger of Distractions: For your own safety, when reloading DO NOT ALLOW DISTRACTIONS to creep in. DO NOT text, DO NOT watch TV or do anything else that will draw your attention away from the task at hand. If you have difficulty paying attention to detail, then reloading IS NOT for you. It is a great hobby well worth exploring and requires excellent focus and concentration.
The above reloading information comes from Bob Shell
